The story behind a clinical massage practice that started at a hospital bedside.
Relief Pointe Massage Therapy is the practice of Felix Mora, LMT — a Licensed Neuromuscular Massage Therapist with 14+ years of experience.
My journey into this work didn't start in a classroom. It started at my father's bedside.
When he was diagnosed with cancer, I became one of his primary caregivers. And somewhere in the middle of that long, hard, sacred season, I discovered something I've never forgotten — that touch is one of the most powerful ways one human being can show up for another. Not just physically. Fully.
That experience didn't just point me toward a profession. It handed me a purpose.
Over the next 14 years, I poured everything into developing a clinical gift that could actually honor that purpose. As a Licensed Neuromuscular Massage Therapist, I specialize in finding the root cause of chronic pain, deep stress, and the kind of exhaustion that sleep alone can't fix — and working patiently until something actually changes. Not just for a few days. For real.
But the longer I do this work, the more clearly I see something that goes beyond the clinical.
When a mom finally gets relief after months of pain, she goes home and her kids get a more present version of her. When someone's nervous system finally resets on this table, the people who love them feel it too. One person restored. A whole family touched.
That ripple is why Relief Pointe exists. It's not just a massage practice. For my wife Riz and me, it's a family ministry — and the name itself carries that meaning. God gave the name Relief Pointe to me, and we later understood what He meant: a ministry of relief that points people back to Him.
I consider the ability to do this work a genuine gift. One I don't take lightly and never want to waste.
When I'm not in the studio, I'm exactly where I want to be — with Riz and our active little boy, soaking up every moment of the life we're building together. At my core, I'm a child of God, a follower of Jesus, and a family man. And that shapes how I see every single person who walks through my door.
I'm not just treating a back. I'm serving someone's dad. Someone's mom. Someone's partner. Someone whose family needs them to feel their absolute best.
That's the work I show up to do every single Monday. And I'd be honored to show up for you.
He understands the body at a deep clinical level — anatomy, compensation patterns, neurology.
Every touch has a purpose. Nothing is routine or scripted.
He stays with each area until something actually changes, not until time runs out.
He finds what others miss — knots, referred pain, and compensation patterns nobody else identified.
Riz is the co-owner, marketing strategist, and community relations lead of Relief Pointe. She manages all brand communications, content, social media, and outreach — writing in a voice she describes as "one mom to another woman pouring into others." Felix and Riz see Relief Pointe not as a business that does marketing, but as a ministry that builds genuine relationships.
"Taking care of yourself is not selfish. It's stewardship." — Riz Mora
